My Top 5 Vacation Destinations Around The World

There is never a time when a person doesn't need a vacation. Yes, that’s a double negative. It is to emphasize that every man and woman does need a vacation, a break from their usual routine of work and stress built up at home. Of course some places make better vacation spots than others. Presenting my blog to everyone in need of vacation, of ideas of choosing the best destination spots.

My Top 5 Favorite Vacation Destinations Around the World!

Starting with #5:

5. Pattaya, Thailand

Pattaya Beach is a 2.5 mile long crowded beach with no way of getting bored. There is plenty of beach water sports from jet skis to wind surfing to paragliding, everything which my family and I did. It’s not a very quiet place, but if you are looking for relaxation, there are lounge chairs to rent or you can have a Thai massage done right on the beach itself. Pattaya Beach was a great place for us to escape from the normal suburban landscape and splash into the waters. It was both adventurous and relaxing at the same time. It was a place away from home where we were able see diverse cultures formed together on one long narrow strip of sand land. The best part of it all was it’s blue water which means underwater group snorkeling. We were able to walk on the bottom of the shallow area of the continental shelf. It didn't just stop at the beach, but the thrill continued till all the way back to our hotel.

4. Paris, France

Paris is the City of Lights (la Ville Lumière) and the Capital of Fashion, with the reputation of being the most beautiful and romantic of all cities around the world (it’s true!). It has the second highest number of Michelin Star restaurants in the world, where I spent most of my time, so you can never go wrong with food. The most popular tourist sites that I visited in Paris include the Eiffel Tower, the Arc de Triomphe, and the Louvre Museum. The Eiffel Tower is a site I have decided to come back to in the future for a romantic getaway. On the other hand, the Louvre Museum snatched my breath away by its beautiful masterpieces that were displayed. As an artist, I can relate to it more and may never stop admiring the different works produced by different individuals with the privilege they have received for their work to be displayed there.

3. Singapore, Singapore

Singapore is the one city that accommodates all. It offers various types of entertainment sights, such as sightseeing to adventure to education. This beautiful city will give you a hard time choosing between where you would want to visit first and where you will want to visit next. You will only feel as if you are running out of time. That is exactly how I felt as we rushed between the different parts of Singapore on our tour. A whole week is not nearly enough time to discover the treasures of Singapore. My favorite part was dining on the Singapore Flyer, as we were able to view the city and observe its beauty through the night life. This is a destination I will surely visit again and this time stay at the Marina Bay Sands hotel, which consists of the three towers shown in the picture, connected on top like a ship with an outdoor pool on the roof. It is definitely not for those scared of heights and luckily I don’t have that fear.

2. Orlando, Florida

Orlando, “The City Beautiful,” is home to many major attractions and theme parks. It consists of the two major resorts: The Walt Disney World Resort and the Universal Orlando Resort. Orlando is the single most enticing city in the world that appeals to people of all ages, especially me. Most of its attractions are located on International Drive (you can’t miss it), so if you have nothing to do, walk down there and you will surely be overwhelmed with things to do. Everytime I travel there, I reconnect with my childhood because I have basically grown up with these Disney characters. Out of all the theme parks, my favorite would have to be the two from the Universal Orlando Resort, Universal Studios and Island of Adventures. Though these are more adult based parks, I have went there up to ten times in one year, so these parks’ layouts are now engraved in my brain.

And Finally #1:

1. Abu Dhabi, Dubai

Abu Dhabi, the capital of the Emirates, is known as the Arabian Jewel. This is the destination where I discovered the true leisure haven, with attractions that meet every possible taste. So for the fanatics of speed, there is the world’s fastest roller coaster there in Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, and for the enthusiasts of sightseeing, like me, the tallest building in the world, the Burj Khalifa is located in Abu Dhabi. Also, there are many more things we marveled over while visiting such as sailing the different cruises, participating in international festivals, and most importantly viewing the peaceful Liwa desert while on a desert safari. Unfortunately, it is better to go there during the cold season to avoid sandstorms, so when you get the opportunity, go! This factor creates more of an eagerness to go visit. It is one of the safest and liveliest cities in the world. I most definitely had the best time there from the different sites to see and how each building varied in its architectural style, yet still composed nicely as one.

From within the country to across the globe, these are my Top 5 Favorite Vacation Destinations.
